Moderate Gum Disease
Moderate gum disease is defined as Stage II Periodontitis in which anaerobic bacteria have caused a deepening of periodontal pockets in the range of 3mm – 6mm in depth. These bacteria are living in tartar formations below the gum line. The dissolution of tartar in this area via Periogen use kills the destructive bacteria and destroys the dental tartar in which they promulgate. |
